Bibione Accessible Destination
A holiday for everyone? It is one of our most successful wonders! ‘Bibione Destinazione Accessibile’ is the project that has won over the operators of Bibione and that was born from deep reflection as well as from the study of data: in Italy alone, over 10 million people with disabilities still struggle to find a tourist resort that meets their needs in terms of structural equipment, communication, services and staff competence.
Hence the decision to implement the tourist offer to become the first accessible tourist destination in Italy and guarantee the right to a holiday for all guests and their companions. ‘Welcoming and accessible’ is an absolutely attainable goal with the hope that knowledge will play a leading role in the development projects of tourist destinations and beyond.
We have combined the power of nature with our passion for hospitality and created services to satisfy all our guests!
- You will find kiosks on the beach equipped to accommodate people with disabilities.
- You can request beach umbrellas closer to the boardwalks, and there are also special pitches that are quickly set up at peak times.
- You can request JOB chairs, which are useful for accompanying people with disabilities to the water and are available free of charge at ticket offices 8 (Via Ariete), 4 (Via Taigete), 3 (Piazzale Zenith ovest) and 10 (P.le Adriatico).
- You will see bathing establishments with 4 km of accessible beach from Lido dei Pini to Bibione Lido del Sole and convenient walkways for wheelchair access to the sea and accessible service islands.
- You will realise that all four establishments managed by Bibione Mare Spa (Pinedo, Shany, Kokeshy and Seven), have no architectural barriers, the toilets are equipped with showers and JOB chairs.

Accessible Destination
Bibione has been able to create the conditions for accessible hospitality thanks to the collaboration with Village For All, an operator specialised in accessible tourism that every year helps the destination in the process of enhancing accessibility, from staff training to the monitoring of accommodation facilities.
Bibione is the first Italian tourist destination to have embarked on a path that involves the entire local tourism chain and offers
sports and recreational activities that are also accessible to people with disabilities.
