Windsurfing
Since the late 1970s and early 1980s, Bibione has been one of the first Italian beaches to offer windsurfing. Initially, it was mainly foreign tourists who took advantage of this opportunity. Today, the passion has spread to Italians as well. On the beach, you’ll see children, mothers, fathers, and sometimes even grandparents enjoying learning this sport.
In Bibione, you’ll find five windsurfing schools spread across the coastline, affiliated with VDWS, the prestigious international association of windsurfing and water sports schools. These schools offer qualified instructors and a guarantee of professionalism. The instructors are dedicated and professional, constantly improving the equipment provided, such as increasingly lightweight and comfortable sails, to enhance both technical and educational aspects for teaching all ages and skill levels.
Bibione’s coastline faces south, with breezes rotating clockwise and consistently blowing side-on shore from the sea. This makes the sea safe for beginners. At the same time, there are beautiful days with strong winds that create ideal conditions for experienced surfers to have fun. Thanks to the winds blowing parallel to the sea, the location is perfect for both seasoned and novice sailors and windsurfers. Additionally, for those who love swimming, diving, kayaking, or canoeing, there are plenty of options. In the inland waters, you can also fish for trout, carp, and enjoy the famous surfcasting.

Sailing
Every year, sailing courses for all levels are organized at sea. The Bibione Sailing Club welcomes many young people and adults who approach this practice for the first time and also caters to the more experienced. The wind conditions are particularly safe, and on days with strong winds, there’s the possibility of sailing in inland waters. The school has qualified FIV (Italian Sailing Federation) instructors who organize theoretical and practical courses in six levels for students aged 6 to 96! Fishing
If you love fishing, here in Bibione you can choose between deep-sea fishing in the open sea with charter services for fishing trips or sport fishing in the lagoon at Sea Sporting Fishing Portobaseleghe, an association born from a passion for the sea and fishing. The members, experts in various fishing techniques, are available to those who want to approach this sport, providing information on where, how, and when to fish in the lagoon and the sea in front of Bibione up to Croatia. The association organizes various activities, including competitions and a free fishing course for children in August.
Kayaking
Want to try kayaking but Greenland is off your tourist routes? Come and explore the offerings of Italy’s first tourist kayak center. Established here in Bibione in the summer of 2010, this center represents a significant enhancement of the eco-tourism opportunities in the area. Two other strong points of this sport are its unlimited accessibility, extending to people with disabilities, and the possibility of practicing it in different periods of the year. Canoeing
For long excursions in the sea and lagoon, choose canoeing! At Piazzale Zenith, you’ll find Tornado Surf Center, a center that offers courses and guided canoe tours with various itineraries. Canoeing will immediately seem easy to handle, and once you’ve gained confidence, you’ll be eager to go rowing both for outings and for some sport.
Diving
If you’re not content to stay on the surface, in Bibione you can experience unique emotions by exploring the seabed! Learning to dive requires specific preparation, including theory and practice, to obtain certification. Your passion for the sea will find a favorable environment in our courses for this experience! To start, you just need to know how to swim and have some confidence in the water.
Swimming School
Love the beach but don’t know how to swim? Have you decided it’s time to dive in and learn? In Bibione, you’ll find safety, professionalism, and experience at the “Centro Europa” Swimming School. Active for several years here in Bibione, the school organizes and conducts summer sea swimming courses for children, teenagers, and adults, with group and individual lessons for all levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. What styles can you learn? All the main swimming styles! Breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, and butterfly. Each lesson is integrated with valuable information on sea safety, so that the student understands currents, knows how to handle deep water, and learns how to swim in case of sudden waves, etc. The lifeguards have extensive experience with tourists, and the federal swimming instructors speak five languages fluently. Activities take place on the beach shoreline in three areas: Piazzale Zenith, Therme 1, and Bibione Pineda.
