Bibione loves to make visitors feel free and it’s constantly striving to keep car use to a minimum. For example, this summer the main shopping street will become one long precinct because it will be closed to motor vehicles all day and all night. Young and old alike will be able to relax and forget all about the traffic as they enjoy an ice cream and stroll among the shops and fountains of Bibione’s new pedestrianized zone.
At the same time, there’s some good news for those who can’t always do without their cars. That applies to families in particular, who sometimes struggle to walk or cycle if they’re going shopping, going out for dinner or simply trying to get to a different part of Bibione.
In summer 2020, the local authorities have decided to make it free to park in the spaces marked with blue lines. Things are tough for everyone this year and this is one of the ways in which they’re trying to cater to the needs of tourists.
It goes without saying that all tourists will nonetheless be encouraged to use their cars as little as possible and make the most of the magnificent cycle paths for which Bibione is renowned. It’s a simple but effective way to turn your holiday into a chance to revitalize your body and your mind.
