Promoted by the Youth Activities School Promotion and Development Department of the Italian Volleyball Federation, in collaboration with the Province Committee FIPAV Treviso, the Junior ParkVolley Trophy in Bibione is an interesting international junior volleyball tournament (last year 1,200 participants!), intended for schools and sports associations that want to spend a long sports, holiday and entertainment week-end in one of the most beautiful and well equipped seaside resorts of the High Adriatic Sea together with their young athletes belonging to the Under 10, 12, 14 and 16 playing categories.


The sports event will take place in Bibione (Ve) during the May, 1 holidays. The games are scheduled on Friday, 2 and Saturday, 3 May. The arrivals of the teams are scheduled on Thursday, 1 May; the departures on Sunday, 4 May.
You will play inside the Municipal Tennis Center, a more than 20,000 square metres wide multi-functioned sports facility, situated between the green and the pinewood, with grass and sinthetyc playgrounds, and also two covered swimming pools that will be used in case of bad weather.

The Sports Center is 800 metres from the sea and is equipped with bar and restaurant facility, toilets and changing rooms with warm water showers, Jacuzzi tube, sun beds and sun umbrellas.


Application. Intended for teams with all levels, divided into the following playing categories:


- Under 10 4x4 M-F-Mixed (born in 1998-1999)

6 x 12 m court – net height m 2.00 (M/F/Mixed) - minivolley proved ball


- Under 12 4x4 M-F-Mixed (born in 1996-1997)

6 x 12 m court – net height m 2.10 (M/F/Mixed) - Volley School ball


- Under 14 4x4 M-F (born in 1994-1995)

8 x 16 m court – net height m 2.24 (M) / 2.15 (F) – regular ball


- Under 16 4x4 M-F (born in 1992-1993)

8 x 16 m court – net height m 2.35 (M) / 2.24 (F) – regular ball


Playing features. The playing features consist in a qualifying (on Friday) with matches played according to Italian rounds with four/five teams. At the end of the qualifying, a provisional rank for each playing category will be made, according to the point ratio gained by each team up to that moment. The final phase (Saturday) will take place according to the above mentioned rank, with matches with direct elimination until the final match. All games will be played in one unique set of 25 points with limit 27. The final games (1°-2° and 3°-4° positions) will be played in 2 sets out of 3, of 15 points with limit of 17 and eventual third set of 15 points with two points more than the other team without ranking limit. The refereeing will be made by Federation referees and, with a rotation, by the same participants according to a detailed match program provided at the check-in; just for the Under 10 and Under 12 playing categories, the athletes called to be referees can be helped by their team-managers.


Main playing rules. The athletes who applied for a team cannot be part of other teams; the teams can be made of athletes having a lower age than the one indicated for the playing category; the athletes have to bear an identification document to show on the playground upon request. Each team shall be made of a minimum of four and a maximum of six athletes. Replacements can be made without formal request to the referee, they are authorized only if the game is stopped and their number is illimited: each replaced athlete can replace another team member.

For the U10 and U12 playing categories, the serve can be underhand serve or setting, while for the U14 category, it will be free: underhand or overhand serve . For the U10 and U12 playing categories, the serve ball can be recepted by bump or setting, while for the U14 and U16 categories, the ball should be recepted exclusively by bump. Each team must bring its own playing ball. The playing rules are available on the website www.beachvolley.it.


Check-in. The check-in will take place at the Municipal Tennis Center in Bibione (via Cellina, 2) on Thrusday from 11 am to 7 pm and on Friday from 8 to 9 am. At the arrival in Bibione, the team-manager will arrange the check-in where the personal passes, the competition programs, the souvenir T-shirts, the Federation gadgets and any information about accomodation and night animation activities will be delivered. A free bus shuttle will guarantee the necessary transfers of the teams for the whole duration of the event.


Accommodation. The participants and their families and friends can dispose of full board holidays in small villas, mobile homes and apartments in the International Tourist Village (4 stars), situated directly on the beach with a wide private beach, bar and restaurant facilities, big swimminpools with water slide and whirlpool, beach material such as sun bed and sun umbrella and a lot more. Should the available rooms in the Village be full booked (around 1,000 beds), against communication to the team-manager, the participants will be accommodated in modern residences (4-6 beds apartments) situated near the playgrounds.


Restaurant facilities. All meals, diversified, abundant and natural, are carefully prepared according to diet and nutritional tables. On request personalized menues for particular diets are available (e.g.: celiac and/or allergic people). The restaurant service (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is provided inside the International Tourist Village.


Reductions. For sports groups of more than 25 persons and staying at least three nights, there is a discount of 120.00 euro on the total amount of the stay of the team-manager as well as a contribution for the travel costs amounting to 250.00 euro for the sports groups living more than 500 km away.


Prizegiving. All athletes will be provided with a participation certificate, Federation gadgets and a medal as souvenir of the event; the athletes belonging to the first three winning teams of each playing category will be awarded with a medal (gold, silver and bronze).


The participation fee to the Trophy includes:

- care and assistance with ambulance and medical staff during the sports activities

- supply of mineral water to the athletes during the sports activities

- bus shuttle transport for the whole duration of the event

- Beach material such as sun bed and sun umbrella

- evening animation activities and free entrance to the clubs

- reduction on the entrance fee to the thermal pools

- one souvenir T-shirt to all participants

- Federation gadgets to all participants

- the delivery of a participation certificate to all athletes

- the delivery of a medal as souvenir of the event to all athletes

- the delivery of a medal to the athletes of the first three winning teams for each playing category

- the supply of the following technical material to the sports participants:

from 4 to 6 participants: 2 balls
from 7 to 12 participants: 1 volleyball net + 2 balls
from 13 to 18 participants: 1 volleyball net + 4 balls
from 19 to 24 participants: 1 volleyball net + 6 balls
from 25 to 40 participants: 1 volleyball net + 10 balls
from 41 to 60 participants: 1 volleyball net + 16 balls
over 60 participants: 1 volleyball net + 20 balls

Check-in: Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm and Friday from 8 to 9 am

Sports activities: Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 12 and from 3.30 to 7 pm

Thrusday: welcome party
Friday: evening beach volley tournament for the team-managers
Saturday: prizegiving and night party in the club
Sunday: playgrounds and beach material at the teams’ disposal


N.B. We will play with each kind of weather condition.

For the ones who do not want to just practice sports, they can enjoy a modern wellness center with big thermal pools for adults and children, provided with whirlpools and water games, a modern beauty center, sauna, Turkish bath, solarium and restaurant facilities. For the athletes and their families and friends, there is a discount of 20% on the entrance fee to the thermal pools.
