Photobook

"Bibione: le Stagioni" is the title of the photobook edited by the Consorzio di Promozione Turistica del Veneto Orientale (Eastern Veneto Tourist Promotion Consortium), celebrating an important anniversary, that is fifty years since the birth of Bibione.

As well as the historical images, taken from the archives of the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento, this volume contains photographs featuring the most original and poetic aspects of the location. In fact, this is a book made up of evocative pictures, with great impact, “annotated” with poems by Italian, British and German authors, really underlining the emotions that the spectacle of nature can offer as the seasons change. The spring and summer are representative, but the less well-known atmospheres of a seaside location in autumn and winter are also included.

The photographs, taken by Luca Masarà, tell of the suggestions of time passing, past becoming present and present, in turn, becoming the starting point for the future, of the half century of life that Bibione has known and the years to come for this location. The time of the seasons that alternate along with the thousand faces of nature changing, is transformed and modified, never ceasing to amaze us, representing little miracles waiting to surprise us through their cyclical regularity.
