Our initiative, aimed at clubs and volleyball associations, offers seaside sports accommodation at reduced costs in one of the most beautiful and well-equipped tourist locations of the Upper Adriatic. A new, engaging experience in a natural environment, far from any traditional place and context dedicated to sport.
Our aim is to give athletes, coaches and managers the chance to carry on training during the summer months and to strengthen team work by letting their athletes rediscover the pleasure and importance of being part of a group.
Many variables have been carefully considered so as to assure the utmost safety: both age and the personal needs of the participants have been taken into consideration when choosing basic structures such as lodgings, restaurants, sports activities and entertainment.
The concept of the Bibione Summer Camp is to give the team managers - in collaboration with our staff, who is always on hand to help - the chance to organise a typical day of sport and fun with their athletes. The team manager shall be responsible for laying out the program and carrying out all the sports events and recreational activities for their athletes. On request, qualified federal instructors shall be available (this kind of service requires a fee).
The sports activities may be carried out either on the arena beach in front of the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale (beach volley), or within the Centro Tennistico Comunale di Bibione (Bibione Tennis Club also equipped for volleyball and beach volley); the latter is a multipurpose sports facility of over 20.000 square metres immersed in nature and surrounded by pine woods, with outdoor courts (grass and synthetic), two floodlit beach volley pitches and a large indoor gymnasium where up to six mobile volleyball pitches will be set up. The Sports Centre (situated 800 metres from the Villaggio) offers many extra facilities such as a café, refreshment bars, restrooms and changing rooms with hot showers, Spa pools, deck chairs, beach umbrellas and a lot more.
After dinner, the fun, entertainment and leisure continue with long walks along the main shopping streets, with visits to the funfair or with dancing and evening entertainment at the disco within the Villaggio. The centre of Bibione can easily be reached on foot and visitors can choose at will the leisure activity they prefer: be it a stroll through the shopping districts or clubbing at the disco or maybe simply relaxing and enjoying local and international food and wine at one of the many restaurants.
When. The Volleyball and Beach Volley Summer Camp is open from May to September with arrivals scheduled on Sundays and departures on Saturdays or Thursdays (for short stays).
Accommodation. Participants may choose between accommodation for one or more weeks and shorter stays of four days in apartments, hotels and holiday camps. Full board accommodation is offered (meals and mineral water included) with lunch upon arrival and breakfast on the day of departure.
Booking. In order to guarantee the best accommodation to all participants we suggest booking at least 30/40 days before the day of arrival.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are plentiful and the menu is varied. All meals shall be carefully prepared according to the age of the participants and in accordance with dietary and nutritional tables. Personalised menus for particular diets (e.g. coeliac disease and/or allergies) are available on request. Meals will be served at the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale or in other restaurants which take part in this event.
Insurance policy. Athletes without their own insurance are advised to add 10,00 Euro to their participation fee. This will buy them a policy against unfortunate injuries during the event. The full names of each person requiring an insurance policy should be clearly marked on the Athletes' Form to be sent along with the Application form. Before taking out the insurance policy we recommend that you download the policy information from the site.
Check-in. Check-in shall be carried out at the Bibione Municipal Tennis Club (Centro Tennistico Comunale, Via Cellina, 2) on Sunday from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Upon arrival, the accompanying team manager shall take care of check-in procedures and will receive all relevant information regarding accommodation, sports events and evening entertainment. Participants will receive the ID passes which is to be worn on the wrist or ankle for the entire duration of the stay and which ensures free entry to the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale (4 star accommodation facilities, situated on the beach front with a large private beach). Here participants will have free access to the large swimming pools equipped with slides and Spa bathes, to the gyms, the restrooms and changing rooms with hot showers. The bracelet will allow participants to use beach facilities such as deck chairs and beach umbrellas without extra charge; to enjoy free entry to the disco and gives discounts on the entrance fee to the thermal swimming pools (Bibione Thermae).
Reductions. Reductions are available for sports groups with more than 20 people and staying for at least six nights: free accommodation to the team manager and a contribution for travelling expenses of Euro 250,00 for sports groups covering a distance of over 500 km.
Promotion. A price reduction of Euro 30.00/person will be granted during the second and third weeks of September (with regards to accommodation for 6 nights in apartments).
Facilities. Participants may use the beach volley and volleyball pitches (the latter are also indoor), have free access to the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale and thus the gymnasium and the swimming pools with slide and Spa bathes, enjoy the evening entertainment, gain entrance into the disco, use beach facilities with sun bed and beach umbrella, make use of sports equipment for training (balls, etc.), have mineral water during training (athletes), rent a personal bicycle (one hundred and fifty are available) to be used for the entire stay, have discounts on entrance tickets to the thermal swimming pools (Bibione Thermae) and to the rides at the funfair.
Bibione: a city for everyone. Bibione is the ideal holiday beach resort which offers beautiful sandy beaches, a calm sea, intact nature and access to culture. Venice is not far and very easy to reach. Bibione's beach extends over 7 km and the sea is calm and clean. The thermal baths in Bibione (Bibione Thermae) is a modern wellness centre with thermal swimming-pools, water games and jacuzzi baths for adults and children. The Thermae has an avantgarde beauty centre with saunas, Turkish baths, sunbeds and restaurants (all participants and those accompanying them will receive a 20% discount on the entrance fee to the thermal baths). Bibione is the ideal place in which you can relax but it is also a city for the young and restless with its many discos, its fun park and its numerous pubs and shops. Bibione is well-known and highly appreciated throughout Europe thanks to its intact lagoon and its deep respect of nature.
