The sandy ground of Bibione and its surroundings is an ideal element for the cultivation of the white asparagus
, a vegetable of delicate taste and with many nutritional properties: a food festival dedicated to it takes place every year in the month of April. This is a wonderful occasion to taste and buy it at one of the many stands put up for this event.
In Bibione there are also cultivations of the Arborio rice, one of the finest rice qualities, ideal to prepare fish dishes. And indeed fresh fish like - the bream, the sea bass, the squid, the sardine and the crayfish – is the other main ingredient of the many delicious dishes that will be served to you in the numerous restaurants of Bibione.

But this seaside resort offers not only fish but also meat, which undergoes severe controls. It is the base for typical dishes and often served with polenta, a traditional Venetian dish, that can be served soft and runny or in grilled slices.
In the countryside surrounding the Venetian beach, the Agricultural Cooperative of Bibione cultivates using traditional and biologically tested methods, typical summer fruits and vegetables.

As far as D.O.C. wines are concerned, the area of Lison – Pramaggiore, is well known for its wine production. Here you have the chance to treat yourself with the luxury to try the freshness of a Pinot Grigio, the herbaceous bouquet of a Cabernet Franc and the fruity flavour of a Chardonnay.
And if you want to taste some of the fines wines, the Septemberfest - the traditional wine and grape festival – is a special occasion you just cannot miss; it is organized in Bibione every year in September.
Least but not last the Venetian grappa, appreciated everywhere for its digestive properties.
