The photo book

Bibione: le Stagioni (the seasons) it the title of a photo book published by the Consortium for Tourist Development of Eastern Veneto, to celebrate an important anniversary: 50 years form the funding of Bibione. 

Beside the historical pictures, taken from the archives of the city hall of San Michele al Tagliamento, this book presents also pictures that portrayed the less known and most poetical aspects of this resort. It is indeed a work made of enchanting images, of great impact, “commented” by poems of Italian, German and English authors, to underline even more on the emotions that nature is able to evoke in us as the seasons change. Emotions of seasons like spring and summer, but also the less known atmospheres and situations that come to life in the seaside resort during autumn and winter. 

The pictures by Luca Masarà, tell about the charms of time passing, of a past that becomes present as well as a starting point towards the future. Images that tell about the half century Bibione lived and of the years ahead of this seaside resort; about how seasons change showing nature´s thousands different faces, which keep on changing and never stop to amaze us. These faces that in their cyclic rhythm disclose us little wonders meant to surprise and amaze us.
