White Summer 2007

A wonderful ski slope for you to enjoy, directly at the sea shore: this is the latest novelty of 2007, to live another unforgettable summer in Bibione.
A perfectly equipped slope will offer you an unforgettable ski experience: try to imagine how it fells to ski gently down a white slope, with the view of Bibione’s coast, the lighthouse, the umbrellas...and than, one turn after the other, to finally reach the end only to get the lift bringing you once again to the top… 

From the 20th of July to the 25th of August this is the surprise Bibione prepared for its guests. A new source of emotions and fun for beginners and experts: the ski slope is built in a patented material and has a snow effect; it requires exactly same apparel to ski on natural snow. 100m long and 10m wide, the facility was built in accordance of the safety requirements implemented for natural ski slopes, with rubber protection covered with PVC along the slope sides as well as at the arrival. The light solution chosen makes it possible to enjoy the facility also during the evening hours.

Estate Bianca 2007 is part of a project promoted by the two most important consortiums of the region Veneto, Belle Dolomiti and Veneto Orientale. With the creation of a “ sea village” in the Dolomites (with umbrellas and beach chairs) and the “snow village” in Bibione, the two consortiums aim to create a new and original way to promote the region Veneto, by gaining more visibility both in Italy and abroad. The project is sponsored by the company Bibione Spiaggia with the participation of the Regione Veneto offering fund for innovative projects.
Near the slope a sort of “little mountain village” will be built; here you can rent all ski apparel as well as book ski lessons of every level. But there will also be the chance to try tasty appetizers, eat and buy typical food and wine products of the region Veneto or simply enjoy the atmosphere by watching the children play in the special area dedicated to them. Yes, Bibione has always had a special eye for the needs of its little guests!
