WINDSURF
Windsurfing is the perfect mix of waterskiing, surfing and sailing, spectacular whether watching or doing. Bibione was already, at the end of the 70s, one of the first Italian beaches to promote it.
This was also because the geographical layout south of the coastline brings thermal breezes blowing mainly from the sea to the beach, making it safe for children and beginners as well.
At the beginning, it was foreign tourists, in particular the Germans, who took up this new sport, but now many Italian families have joined them. An in fact, having a go is not just limited to children (getting ever younger) but also to the less young, mums and dads and even sometimes “grandma and grandpa” !
Currently there are five schools open from 1 May to 20 September affiliated to the VDWS, the prestigious association of windsurfing and watersports schools at international level, with qualified instructors and guaranteed professionalism.

The canoes are designed for the sea and perfect even for the longest trips, easy to carry and unsinkable so you can indulge in a little sport when the wind drops or even just go out to where the water is a deeper blue.
SAILING
The Bibione Sailing Centre is ready to meet the requests of the many youngsters and adults who want to take up sailing or are already expert. If conditions are difficult with high wind and waves, training takes place in a wide bend of the lagoon so that even beginners can learn in complete safety.
The school has qualified FIV instructors (Italian Sailing Federation) and organises courses in theory and practice for learners ranging from 6 to … 96! spread out over 6 levels, and adults.

SCUBA
Beneath the waves your feelings reawaken. Underwater diving is a safe sport because you’re required to follow a course with practical and theory tests in order to gain your licence. To start, all you need to know is how to swim and to have that minimum of confidence with water. In Bibione the courses and trips are organised by the SFERASUB Association, created to promote the training of scuba divers able to dive in complete safety and above all, to get to know the sea from a privileged point of view.
