JOGGING BY THE SEA.
Jogging, a light and extended run, is a sport that anyone can do, useful for firming and toning the body. And if you do this along the sea shore, it is even better because in the early morning, the clean air and silence are perfect for freeing the mind of stress and tension, and then the hours just before sunset, when the colours hint of red dip into the sea, are the most reviving for body and spirit!
WALKING
Lovers of walking on holiday in Bibione can continue training with two circular walking routes, with information boards and well marked out: the Bosco Canoro route of 9 kilometres and the Faro route, 18 kilometres. For both routes, the start and end point is Bar Silvia, Via Maia 72, where you can register and receive the necessary information. For 34 years, every 1 May Bibione’s walking group has organised , “Bibione on Foot”, a non-competitive walking event attracting over 7,000 participants.
NORDIC WALKING
Nordic Walking is a sporting discipline suitable for everyone and all ages, where you move by using ski poles thus exercising up to 90 % of your muscles. Every Thursday morning throughout the summer, you can keep fit with Nordic walking along the sea front, from Piazzale Zenith up to the lighthouse.
The lessons are: basic, technique 1 and technique 2; the poles can be hired and, if you want, you can also book private or group lessons, for other days in other locations, for example Valgrande and Vallesina.
HORSE RIDING
At the Valgrande Horse Riding Centre, open all year, 2 association instructors give lessons covering all levels, beginners, experts, and children aged 10 and up. The school has 15 horses, 2 courses, 1 obstacle course for the more experienced and a riding school for beginners. The horse rides in Valgrande di Bibione are absolutely unmissable.
Not far from Bibione, La Braida is a farm stay business, surrounded by nature, where you can both ride and practise dressage. From working on the flat, to jumping obstacles with a Level 1 Italian Federation of Riding Schools teacher and the dressage with a Category D instructress.
